ADMISSIONS

Admission requirements are based largely upon the student’s ability to meet the
requirements of his/her occupational goal. A strong motivation to learn and a desire to
pursue a career, are important considerations. All persons enrolling in American College
of Forensic Studies, must be a minimum of 18-years old, posses a High School Diploma,
GED, or have the ability to benefit from training. No person shall be denied admission,
graduation or any other rights and privileges of attending at American College of
Forensic Studies, because of race, color, creed, national origin, religion, sex or disability
impairment.

ENROLLMENT

The enrollment procedure begins with an appointment to tour the college and an
interview with an educational counselor. The curriculum, equipment, material and career
paths of the program that the prospective student is interested in, is discussed.  An
assessment of the applicant’s employment history, prior education, motivation, and
placement potential are made. The applicant is made aware of college’s policy and
procedures and if interested, the student is given an aptitude test.  Test results are
discussed and if the applicant passed, information and instructions are given for the first
day of class.

The enrollment procedure ends one week after starting class, where an enrollment agreement and all necessary paperwork are completed.  Each
applicant is judged individually.  All students are allowed a five-day grace period to cancel at no charge.  American College of Forensic Studies
feels that the five-day grace period would re-enforce what the college expects of its students and what the student can expect from the college.
